New Reformation Ministries

Our Purpose

The unique focus of New Reformation is to recover and reclaim in the church a high view of God, a vision of Him, who reigns in the heavens over all. Especially does this ministry seek to magnify the sovereign grace of God in the salvation of sinners. These transcendent truths that once shook the world in the sixteenth century are those same doctrines that are particularly featured in this ministry. If a new Reformation is to come in our day, it will come only as we return to “old paths” that are laid out in Scripture are proven to be reliable in generations past.

Our Perspective

What the prophets and apostles announced so long ago, what Jesus Christ Himself proclaimed, is what we desire to see recovered in this day. What the Reformers spoke in their hour of history — biblical truths that elevated God and magnified Christ — is what we exalt and emphasize in this ministry. This sacred trust of sovereign grace has been passed down to us as we stand in ‘a long line of godly men’. May we be found faithful!

Our Passion

What we desire most for every Christian is that they know the greatness God. This generation suffers from low views of God. His glory has been obscured in this hour. We want to correct this and cause believers to grow in a transcendent view of God. The Lord is so much more holy and sovereign and righteous than we can even imagine. We desperately want believers to know that it is by His supreme mercy that He has saved us by Himself and for Himself. Only then can we grow stronger in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ. Moreover, we must know that God is the Architect of an eternal plan for us, and that He is ushering in His sovereign purposes on a grand scale, there by building up our faith and radically transforming our lives.

“I would like to see the beginning of a new reformation in our day, and I hope you would like to see it too and are praying for it. I hope you have become nauseated with the tawdry entertainment that passes for the true worship of God in many of our churches and, like the saints of the past, are longing for more of the deep truths of the inerrant Word of God. We certainly need a reformation.”

  • James Montgomery Boice

“I dream of a new reformation that is not simply a renewal of life but a new vision of life. As long as Christians restrict their Christianity to a religion, a faith that is compartmentalized and isolated from life, there can be revival but never reformation. We need to hear and do the Word of God in all of our lives.”

  • R. C. Sproul

“A Reformation is as much needed now as in Luther’s day, and by God’s grace we shall have it, if we trust in Him and publish His truth….We want such a one as Martin Luther to rise from his tomb. If Martin were now to visit our so-called reformed churches, he would say with all his holy boldness “I was not half a reformer when I was alive before, now I will make a thorough work of it.”
